Good Friday March of Witness. Waltham Abbey Churches joined together to walk from Ninefields to Waltham Abbey Town Centre, taking in the Church of England sites, Baptist, free Evangelicals and the Salvation Army centre. Well done everyone. We finished at the Abbey Parish rooms with ladies from the Friday Lunch club making tea and coffee and buttering hot cross buns for everyone, all donated by the Co-Op shop and funeral offices of Abbey, Gratefully received and much appreciated.

On the 14th May the ladies of St Thomas and St Lawrence became Ladies that Lunch and meet up at the Plough in Stewardstone for a very enjoyable lunch. It was such a massive success that we are planning two more later in the year.

On Saturday 28th May The Good Intent hosted “Be  a Star for a night” in aid of St Thomas Church. As you can see from the photos some entered into the spirit of the event with some enthusiasm. It was a fun evening hosted by DJ and Kareoke master Les and enabled by the management of the Good Intent who also managed to dress up to join in the fun.

We thank them very much for their hospitality and support and much community spirit was evident. Look out for similar events you know you want to be there!
