The loss of a family member or close friend is a deeply sad time and the Vicar is here to help in any way they can.
If you wish to hold a funeral at St Thomas’ then this is usually arranged with a local funeral director who will liaise directly with the church on your behalf.
Families in the parish are very welcome to use St Thomas’ for the funeral service and the churchyard is open to the burial of ashes as well as to new burials and to burials into existing family graves.
If the deceased was not resident in the parish of Upshire please contact the Vicar to discuss the possibility of holding the funeral at the church.
